Check out duck hunting gloves. THey use em to put decoys out. Should work. Still dont think you are gonna be able to tie a knot with em though.

I use the Cabela's Guidewear fingerless gloves and the ragg wool fingerless gloves that they also sale. The Guidewear are made from WindStopper material and the wool gloves keep ya warm even when wet. If its windy I use the Guidewear, raining I go with the wool.

I use neoprene when driving boat in winter, holding SS wheel.. Works great!
Landing fish, they are great. once wet, they get very cold.
I agree with some others here, wool when wet.. (but they have NO grip)
