    with conditions @ Buggs being tuff I got to thinking bout Banister Lake @ Halifax- small lake outa be warmer water I used to catch a lot of crappies there but aint been to it in years- anybody been there lately?

    very good fishing there for green carp and crappie. i fish there quite often after work sometimes plenty of structure along the bank for finding the fish. white is the hot color for me in that lake. hope this helps you some if you need more info just ask...

    yea man thanks! I bet its been 7 years since I fished there- after the big turn to the right used to fish a cove on the left that was full of stumps and crappies- any chance that the ramp area has been widened any?

    i dont know what it was like back when you were there last but i can put my ranger boat there no problem. i call it halifax pond the bridges hold the biggest crappie that i have found..
