Thread: Finally got out yesterday.

Braved the 15-25 winds from the West yesterday. Met up with fellow member Defiant (met him here!) and tried our luck on a local, deep, clear lake of just over 100ac. Tough going! Water was 39-42 winds dictated where we could fish. Our plan was to locate the fish and fish accordingly. We just couldn't find them! Cruised the 50' basin, 40, 30, lines etc. Nothing! Checked some wind blown Northern coves for warmer water, water was a degree or so warmer but still no fish. One cove still had some ice! Guessing we will need to wait on some warmer water. Of course were forecasted for 6+inches of snow tonight. Even though fishing was slow had a good time getting on the water and meeting a new fishing buddy! Hope to provide a better report as the weather improves.
