Got a chance to finally get out. Not much to report, caught 2 in Bluestone and about a dozen in Buffalo. Water was heavily stained and there was a lot of trash floating in the creeks and the main body. WT ranged from 47 to 53. We caught all fish on jigs tiped with minnows and they were small, largest just shy of 12".

Was the same for us on Saturday and Sunday. Muddy and lots of trash in the water, all fish we caught were small.

Good try. I have been fishing Kerr over 30 years and been skunked a few times. I still fish it every year. It is by far one of the top lakes around. things will change any day now. Looking forward to future reports!!!!!!
I got to hit bugs tue 11th for first time too- fished from bout 1:30 till dark- Put in @ longwood fished both directions- water same as you saw muddy & debris- temps a little better ran from 50- 57 deg. - didn't catch a fish- gona try again sat
