Got on the water around 7:00 and fished 12' of water in front of the park until 10:30. Caught 20 fish mostly small crappie but caught a 12 1/2" with a jig in his mouth. Bet someone is upset but if your looking to claim the fish he met fate with hot grease last night. Caught a 22" striper wich was fun but let him go. After 10:30 picked up my wife and her friend at the dock. We fished until 3:00 and went home with 7 perch (biggest 11 1/2"), 4 crappie, and 2 really nice gills that were caught on minnows. We had all together over 40 fish so it was fun and good to have the big boat out.

Good Job JD. My son went the same day. Caught 7. It was slow but he caught those in 3 hours of fishing. Full day of it at that pace would have been decent.CF

Jig is in the picture, I caught it hook and minnow. Tube jig on a cheaper looking jig head unpainted.Only jig that worked for me is the black and chartreuse tripple tail, it is my favorite.
