I went to Perquimins today after some crappie and Perch but it was super slow. I fished until about 3pm and called it quits. Only caught 2 perch. River was full of bait, water temp was 40 degrees and the fish that were marked were on the bottom. I reckon the front shut them down. Tootsie Roll was there and we got to shoot the bull some and teamed up on the fish for a while but they just had lockjaw. Tootsie Roll had his son Sam with him today and I tell Ya what, That boy is going to be a crappie killer. If a rod even looked at him wrong, He was all over it. He was giving his old man a hard time about missing a few lite biters. Way to go Sam! Here are some pics of the Father/Son team at work.
Good seeing You guys today even though the fish would not cooperate.CF

Yeah, I will never hear the end of it. Me and Lipsnatcer 1, managed 4 yellows, 2 crappie, 2 bass and 3 rock. It was definitely slow, but a good time was had. Sam even let me real the 4 yellow perch in we caught first thing cause he said it was too cold to take his gloves off! Thanks Bud.
Ed, good to see ya. It was nice having somebody else to talk to, especially since the fish didn't cooperate. We will get em next time.

That is so great. At the bash there was a little girl all in pink. She should have won just for being out there. I wish when I was young my dad would have taken me out fishing. But he don't fish. But I do take my step son out, and other things. Hopefully I will catch you both on the water soon. I'll be in a silver Bass America, pulled by a green GMC(the plates are a give away). Maybe one of these bashes us Carolina guys can make a hit.
