I should have know yesterday's Bash forecast of Sunny and W winds at 10mph, as too good to be true. Now it looks like the forecast is starting to get dicey: rain and snow mix in a.m. with NW winds at 19mph.
It seems to always drizzle or snow on my boat overnight down there on Friday. Then the weather clears some by morning. I get wet carpet all day but it is fishable. The forecast did just change from sunny and 45° to 50% chance precip. I don't trust them. I like to flip my own coin!

I was there sunday and the water was low. I do not think the river will be that bad to fish. Heck it only takes two fish to win!!!! I'll be there regardless. See yall there.

I am not going to let am rain stop me from going. I might wait a few minutes for it to quit before I head out. Last I saw, the rain will end around 5 or 6 am anyway. I am not putting any faith in the forecast as they could not forecast the sun coming up on time right now. I have seen so many wrong forecast over the past month that it ain't even funny. Don't put much stock in them right now.CF

On average the Bash weather is off and on cloud cover, high in the low to mid 40's, wind blowing from a cold direction, anywhere from 15 mph to just under gale force. Most bashes, I have come home with a wind burnt face. That is what I am expecting this time. We always seem to start out with temps in the upper 20s to lower 30s and it takes until almost weigh in to get decent. Thats just part of it. Lets find out who the wimps are.CF
