After a month of slow/no bite, I finally found a few at LCR today. WT was about 40.5. Grass is mostly gone and fish have schooled up, but the schools are widely scattered & not very large. Several spots into the day I located a small but productive area. Fish were holding in 12 to 15 FOW & went for both jigs and minnows. I landed a total of 25, including a 14-incher
and 11 others of keepable size. There were also lots of pickerel and a couple of hungry greenies.

Good job, Corker. Thank you for the report. That is a nice fish, there!
Thanks for report. Looks like 3-4 weeks of cold weather. Should kill off more of the SAV. My favorite memory of crappie fishing was a few yrs ago, @ this time of yr, fishing with Corker at LCR .. My first time catching suspended Crappie.
Richard often had 3-4 fish on at a time , I was amazed at the smooth organized manner he handled landing these schooled up fish.
Man, what fun! And great eating too!
