Default ash spill headed to Buggs

Y'all followin the Duke power ash spill here in Eden? its headed to Buggs and will adversely affect the fishin for yrs to come. the biggest problem seems to come from the celinium which sterilizes the adult fish resultin in no reproduction...

Yeah, just sucks! Between that and the sewage spill in burlington, makes you wonder how much fish you will be able to catch or eat.

there is some info on the Kerr proboard by a guy that helped with the Belews Creek Res problem yrs ago. he says that it will not be as bad as that one was because of the time it takes to flush all the water thru the system. happens pretty fasy at Buggs, and that will help us. may affect the whole system but hopefully not as bad as it could be.

This just makes me sick! Can't believe how little press it's getting. Guess we need a big ole flood to help wash it through. No telling what the Government's plan will be. They may pretend it didn't happen or go the other way and shut lakes down to recreation. They say the treated water is fine. right. What about swimming this year. Again the possibilities of what might be just makes me sick!!

I guess it will eventually make its way down the Roanoke river and then the Albemarle Sound and smoke them too. There goes My fishing. The Albemarle Sound is the septic tank of Buggs.CF

Hey CF you can come up to Currituck and fish with us. We have some nice creeks with lots of fish. Just look IT. Upper Chowan should be fine also.
