    Default Report- Cahoon 2-2-2014

Fish Cahoon on 2-2 from 10:30 to 2:30, Lake was in good shape as far as ice was concerned, just some thin stuff up lake. Water was slighty dingy but not bad. Water temp was 38-39 degrees. Fishing was slow. Managed 4 fish, (3) 9-10" and one nice 12" fish. All fish were caught at about 18ft and singles. I could not get more than the one fish off a piece of cover. One fish and nothing else, but it sure was nice to break the cabin fever. Next trip for me will be the bash. Let's hope this rain and snow gives us a break.

Thanks for the report. We fished the green carp tournament Sunday in Suffolk but didn't put Cohoon in the hat as we figured it would still be frozen. Guess that wasn't the case. Good job on getting some fish.
