It wasn't too calm..... but I went to Suffolk to try my luck Monday, the water was a little choppy when I arrived around 8:30, I was greeted by an empty parking lot.
But decided to give it a shot in a creek blocking the wind..
All fish came near the bottom in 20-30 FOW almost always got a bite when I went over grass or structure.
Most fish was right at the 10 in mark, nothing over 11, also had a decent flyer in the bunch (in the group photo next to the drain tube)
bait of choice was BGBS with nibbles, I started mixing the nibbles up with different color shad (Like the jelly bean thing) I got a bite on them most timesanyway here’s a few photos of the day.
I brought home 18 keepers caught 23
