    Default Holliday Ring Perch


    Has anybody been tried to catch any ring perch or crappie in Holliday Lake. I've never been and was thinking about taking a trip soon, any advice?

    Use the search function and search for The Mountain Man's posts. He fished that lake and does quite well I believe. Good luck.

    They are dropping the lake level and the ramp can be rough. I got stuck last year with my truck wheels completely off the ramp. But if you go, start down in the deep water by the dam and drag medium minnows on the bottom. The lake is not big, stay deep and you can catch them. There is a nice channel down the middle of the lake and they are usually on one side or the other of that. Watch your depthfinder and you can find it. I've been chasing big hawgs at another lake and neglecting Holiday but plan to get over there.
