So I listened to the weatherman today and missed out on a good day of fishing.Checked this morning at 6 and they were calling for 100% chance of rain by 9am so I decided to stay home. Didn't even see a sprinkle until 1:30 this afternoon and that only lasted about 5 minutes. It was close to 4:00 before any substantial rain ever set in.

Easy to figure, if rain is forecast I stay home rain holds off,I go fishing record setting rain falls (it usually starts when I am far from the landing). I shall refrain from my wind and temperature horror stories.
