Have been off recovering from meniscus surgery and fishing is the best therapy I know. Been after crappie and some other fish. Crappie been slow, getting a few vertical jigging at Holiday Lake but no great numbers. Yelow perch been hiding from us but we will keep after them. Been slaying these big green fish at another place we call hawgtown. 10 citations between three of us in 10 days. The other guys make it hard on me when I want to stop and vertical jig but for the pullage we been getting the hard time is worth it. Cold but much fun. Here is a few. All fish were released unharmed. I swear I want to crappie fish but just can't stop trying for that 10 pounder..............I know he's there.................and the next full moon will be the time to get him.
