Gene and I finally got to go fishing at Kerr again today. He still real weak but we took it slow and really enjoyed the day. Started off a little cool but warmed up nicely, I got big fish today but he beat me in count. We had about 75. My big one was 14 in. And then a 13 1/2 . Genes was 13 3/4 in. Caught on brush piles 5 to 15 ft. Deep in water between 12 to 30 ft. Third caught casting rest jigging. Really LOVE my guide and I get to carry him home with me .Fished from 10 to 4

WTG Gene and Elaine, those are some good looking slabs. Funny how the cold water makes them look silver. Hope you all get to go more often now.
Nice fish! I went out and caught a cold.

Great report guys!!! Good to see both on the water again. Hope your feeling better these days Gene.
Nice report and pics . Glad you guys got some fish, and had a chance to spend some quality time together.
God Bless you,
Dean
Lookin good!
First it was that couple fishing team down in Florida, now it's a different couple fishing team from North Carolina. Next it will probably be that couple from the VA mountains, all catching big fish while I have to work. Boo-Hoo, guess I need to talk to Santa and let him know what this no fishing couple team here from central VA wants for Christmas.
Really glad to hear (and see) that the 2 of you got to get out and have a great day.
Nice job.
