Default Crescent lake, Curtis these are for you

We just got here around 3:30 this afternoon and I went out to get some rods set up for tomorrow. I was in the middle of the lake setting up my rods and taking all the heavy jigs off. As I took each rod and changed it over I threw it out and trolled with it. I was on my last rod when a fish hit, I landed it and it was a nice 12" fish. Shortly after another and than another. I had caught 4 in a matter of minutes. The best part is that two of them were 2 lbs or more. One was right at 2lbs and the bigger one was 2lbs4ozs. What a start to a 15 day stay at Crescent, I'm pumped.

    2lbs even and a 2.4oz

Dang that sure is a great way to get started. Might make it a little hard to go to sleep tonight I reckon. Beautiful fish!

Those are ducks, we have a house right on the water. I've been looking for that 3 pound fish for several years now. If it's going to happen this is the lake that can produce it.

Eileen will get them tomorrow, she was getting things put away at the house when I went out. It was already 4pm and I just wanted to get the rods changed over. Lucky start.
