I should mention that for the most part the winds were from the east. So much for "when the wind is from the east the fish bite the least". And the barometer was pretty high at 30.26 for what it's worth.

When I go fishing I throw most of those old saying away,I use to go and when I didn't catch much I said fish was not biting,then find out someone else tore them up ,so now I say I could not find those fish that wanted to bite. Glad you had a good day but I bet someone else had a bad day

Dang! ... A few weeks ago, I fished half a day, put 155 in the boat, I should have fished all day that day to see just how many I could catch in a day,my arm and shoulder was sore from 155, it would have fell off with that many. One rod, vertical jigging.

I don't catch that many in a year normally. Dang son, that's a crappie whoopin!!

What a day to remember.

That is insane. I haven't caught that many crappie in 2013.
