Finally made it to river Sunday. Sorry late report. Didn't get on water til 2. Caught 18, 8 keepers. All on minnows spider riggn around dam and main channel. Best was 13.5 in. The rest were 10 to 12in. Very fat fish feeding on small baitfish we saw in the main channel. Not bad for a few hours. Also a bunch of small catfish that kept us busy.

Didnt see worms on the fish. Not sure if their were any in the fish cause i actully gave them to a friend. Was to tired to clean them. I have seen the little red worms in the filet before. Pluck em out. If theirs more than a few i just throw em away.
I'm new to this forum and was wondering years ago we would put it next to the gates and the locks between the river and the lake and catch herring is that anywhere near where you were fishing haven't been down there in years but would like to start crappie fish all I have is a 12' Jon boat with elec motor so not looking to run the river or lake to far any information will be a big help thanks

I have the same set up. The dam is being worked on but can still put in below dam and fish near dam. I don't travel far from damn. There is not much tidal current. You can go couple hundred yards down river and back with just a good trolling motor long as the wind isnt to stiff. I do most of my fishing close to damñ. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the repley i hope to give it a try Sunday if I do I will post how it goes
I will be there also in the jon boat. Not sure what time. Morning sometime. We will probaly bump into each other.
