Something like this just puts a huge knot in your chest. You can be sure that My wife and I will be praying that the Lord's comfort will be with the family. I have asked prayer groups, and my friends and family to pray for them too.

So sorry for the family. You don't read stories like this but a couple times a year, always makes you inventory your own life. I hope the survivors can make peace with this.

Dwight's funeral was today. I was not able to attend but I'm sure there was a huge turn out. I will find out more this weekend. I heard his wife has gotten herself together and is handling this well right now. I am worried about how things go in the months ahead. Christmas will be tough.CF

Sad news indeed. I very rarely fish by myself since my back problem about 3 years ago. Do wear PFD, but, don't know if I have enough strength/stamina to pull myself into the boat if I should fall out?

I saw Dwight's oldest Son Yesterday. A Friend of mine took him hunting with his own son. Luke shot at a deer. He missed but he was excited. He has had someone with him the whole time. I am starting to wonder if He is getting the time He needs to grieve. The whole family for that matter. They need that too or it could lead to problems down the road. I hate to even think about stuff like that. It is a terrible deal. Just seeing the boy made me have to fight back the tears.CF

Yes, there is a need for support, but there also needs to be time to allow yourself to get things reorganized in your mind. It is a healing process that has to take place privately. It is crucial that that takes place.

    We will keep praying.
