found a old pine fallen in the creek and the big limbs supported it in about 12 feet of water,i let the jon boat lay up against the pine and held my 6.5 ultra lite with 7 feet of line out with 1/32 black and chart tubes and just placed it beside the submerged limbs and let it sink no casting i lost count but caught 100 plus 10 to 13 in.it is a tidal creek and the tide was coming in and holding the boat in place.i was trying out a little 3.5 merc 4 stroke i just got and really didnt think i would catch much,no electronics not sure of water temp most fish about 4 ft down kept 6 for dinner
