Default Weekend wash except for the brave

I haven't been out since the first week in April I was hoping this weekend was the one but it looks like a stormy wash.... however I think we're going to see reports anyway..... (Maybe next week for me).

But for the C.C weather bravers best of luck to you! hope you get em :-)
Tap, Bennett, UTR .. U know who you are :-) looking forward to the reports :-)

Too add a second thought.... I'm not promoting foul weather boating.... by all means be safe and awear of the weather before you venture out..

I can't let Jeremy wheeler run my life Mike, he has been shooting alittle high and to the left lately anyways... I don't believe nothing they say anymore... I'm gonna try my best to catch a few Tomm, just trying to decide what body of water

My son and his girl came down to fish today, we were rained out. Just sitting around on porch. But ribs on the grill are tasting pretty good!! (and my fridge is missing a few cool ones)

Had a crazy day at wb, after 5 hours of crappieless fishing, and all of my go to spots I started searching new water. Found a few crappie on a thick lay down 9 fow suspended ( I was actually sight fishing) this was a first for me... Sight fishing for crappie was a hoot... Could actually watch them come up to the slow falling 1/32 with a home brewed twitch minnow. Just as the jig would get out of sight I would see a flash of silver and fish on! The smaller ones weren't 18" deep the bigger ones scattered around about 2.5' deep. Ended up with 17 crappie 4 over a lb. three white perch one yellow one bass one pike and one cat that took me 19 minutes to get to the boat... Got some good video... 9' pole with 4 lb test doubled over. He ended up breaking off right as I was getting him into the net.

As PS stated above, be aware and careful. I just found out a 15' boat capsized up the river from me yesterday. 2 still missing, and a third person was found, he had heart attack and was sent to hospital in Richmond..
( 3 in boat) They pushed it just too far... I didn't even "think about" taking my 22' out.
