Fished for about 6 hours caught 11 speks and countless gills. Fish were 3to 4'. The fight was, on wasps were active and mean. They laid claim to a stretch of shoreline and forced me to retreat. This was not the bite I desired.
As for speks most were female with roe. The males while dark showed no signs of nest building.
