    Ever seen this? I've seen yellow perch do it but never crappie.

    Did you catch it like that or did the crappie get upset and take it out on the smaller one in the livewell?
    I only fish on days that end in "Y" - (Retired Navy)

    Heard two thumps under my boat the third splash was right at the bow. I looked down and was surprised to see that slab with a dink in his mouth, I reached down and lipped him, after me and undertheradar laughed a bit I pulled the small 4" dink out of the bigger crappies mouth, it swam away, the greedy fat one wasn't so lucky as it was only a short half day trip and I had a cooler to fill

    BTW that is the BIGGEST 13.25" crappie Ive ever seen @ 1.9lbs

    Shhhhhh, hush yo mouth lol I'm telling ya they can't stand the Perc special " Sour Creme Shad" they get a waft of that shad scent cooked into the plastic and go bonkers, Coo koo for cocoa puffs!
