Good job Tap,the bobber method works for me too.I use a weighted one and it will cast a mile.I like to pull it a foot or two and pause just long enough for the jig to settle and pull it again.Great way to control the depth of your jig and to cast it a long way.They will also bite it sitting still.It works for up to 6 or seven ft.from bobber to jig with a seven ft rod after that its hard to cast with so much line hanging down.Glad you got on em and did not give up.I caught 9 from 2 to 3 pounds yesterday,speckled trout that is and used the bobber method for them too.The cigar casts better and the round ones wobble the jig just rite.
