Great Post!! that is very descriptive, I assume you were casting to them? One question, the top left says 21.6 feet and the bottom left says 15.8 feet. I assume the 15.8 is the depth of the fish and the 21.6 is the bottom. Water temp was different also?
I was casting two rods with jigs. I'd throw one on freespool and while that one was falling, I'd throw the second. Got the timing down to where when I picked up the first one I'd set the hook and most times there was a fish on. By the time I cast that one back out, the other one had a fish on it......and on and on and on. That's a great question, and I'm not sure what the answer is. The info on the bottom left (where depth reads 15.8) comes up when you take a screenshot (i.e., not normally displayed). In addition to WT and Depth, it also displays GPS position (which I blanked out :rolleyes. When I ran over the school, I dropped a bouy and then scrolled back on my HDS and marked a waypoint, took a screenshot and studdied it a bit to see if I could determine what it was. Initially I thought it might be stripers. That info might be from the other transducer (they are about 17 feet apart and one is a little deeper) and I was going down a slight slope (you can see that on the screenshot). At any rate, you have my curiosity up. I'm going to see if I can find out where that data comes from. When/if I find out, I'll post here.
