    Default Lake marion , sc


    My wife and I are planing a trip to lake marion, SC the first part of March.

    I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to where to go on the lake. We have never visited that lake.

    Any info will be greatly appreciated.

    Years ago some close friends owned a fish camp there near Monk's Corner. I've fished for catfish and bass there but never crappie.
    There has to be some nice ones in that lake. A 5lb 7½oz Shellcracker was caught in the canal that connects the 2 big lakes a few years back. It was the world record for a while.
