My primary jig casting outfit :

    6'6" ESP PowerLite rod
    Shimano Aero 1000 spinning reel
    4lb test Vicious hi-vis mono

    1/32 - 1/16oz weedless jigheads
1.5" - 1.75" solid body plastics (various brands, & custom made baits)

I don't vertical jig enough to warrant having a specific outfit designated to that method. Should I decide to go that route, however, I do have an outfit that would serve the purpose :

10' BnM Sam Heaton Super Sensitive rod
    Spidercast SM200 IAR reel
4lb test Stren Gold mono (which would likely be replaced with 6lb test hi-vis mono or 10/2 PowerPro braid)
