got to bob's before sunrise and checked out the river which was pretty muddy so i picked up two dozen minnows and headed a little further south to tulls creek. the water was still stained bad but decided to give it a try. the main reason i went to tulls creek was checking over my game plan for our up coming n/w bash. well i got to my go to spot and found the fishing a little slow. i ended up with 20 crappie (all dinks) and to my suprise i caught 5 brim on jigs tipped with crappie nibbles. I did put out three poles with minnows and had no luck. all the fish today came off jigs casting or jigs with nibbles. water today was 42 degrees and most fish were in 9 ft of water fishing 7ft deep. chat and blue were the colors they hit the best and kalins twister tails. i only fished 4 hours because of the rain. i did take a couple of pictures and will post them later. tight lines JIM.B

Tull's has always been one of my favorites for some reason. Its usually feast or famin. This time of the year I've had good results just circling the deep water at the "Y" using minnows and jigs. The mouth of some of the creeks can be good at times too. One of my last trips down there had been very slow all day so I decided to call it quits. I pulled up to the mouth of the ditch that goes up to Poyner's landing and bobbers started going down. I had a limit within about 20 min. Sure was fun.

Jim, looks like your going to be a contender at the Bash. You know what they say:Pratice makes perfect. Get that RP hole staked out. Did I mention I got a Drone Plane with for Christmas.
