Thread: What do you keep your tackle in!?

I Use 7 Plano 3601s for all my crappie jigs,spinners,crappie cranks etc... these are thin three of these is equal to two regular 3600s. I have an old 3700 I keep my freshwater terminal tackle in. And a big bass popper fly box with double sided foam pads for holding all of my handtied kiptails, bucktails, marabous and craftfurs.

Bass stuff I have a bizzillion and one packs of worms shoved into a 3700 and all my big poppers and cranks jammed into another as well as a 3600 box full of storm baits.

I have a browning tackle backpack I use when Hoofing it to the ponds Through the woods behind the house but 99% of the time its just crappie boxes stored in the center bench of my boat... I got tired of stuff laying on the floor of the boat and figured since I rather put fish on Ice I keep my tackle stored in the 'livewell' as well as throw cushions fire ext. collapsible paddle life preservers.extra rope etc....

Now Saltwater I have an old Plano tan and green hard tackle box that Ive had since I was 8 or 9... I just keep the usual hooks sinkers bottom rigs, a few bucktails storm lures and Now since my recent hookup with trout (Thanks to Mr.Idunno) A few packs of Saltwater assassin paddletails color Chicken on a Chain in there too along with 1/8 & 1/4oz heads

id love to see a pic! and i knew someone would say something about my boat stickers! haha... i am planning on painting my boat this winter so i havent put them on yet

I shove it into the boat nooks and crannies, but most is all over the floor. 6 of the big bin things fit under the seat. I do not toss the wore out lures, I just drop them on the boat floor.

That reminds me of my buddy I fished with since we were about six. We started out where all the lures we owned would fit in one of those old metal bandaid boxes, great for walking and wading. When we graduated to fishing out of a boat he switched to a cardboard shoe box, first thing he would do was sit down and dump the contents on the floor knowing that some time during the day he would knock it over anyway. Back in the 70's when the ex was working at the Navy Exchange she handed him a 2' by 2' wrapped box at Christmas, it was a boot box and inside were 12 more shoe boxes down in size to a box for baby shoes. I haven't seen him in about six years but I still have bobbers, split shot and other odd stuff rolling out from under the seats.

lowes hardware. next to the bolts in my store has stanley boxes that stack and snap to each other. i have five and can take as many or as few as i want. not very expensive. and you can really get to diffrent lures quick.
