16 incher weights 2.1

Had a decent day fishing with my good friend Ernie. We only caught 19 but one was 16" and weighted 2lb1oz. all fish were caught tight lining in 12' to 22'. The big one came off the bottom on an orange& chartreuse jig. This was the best crappie Ernie has caught to date.

The picture does not do the fish justice.

WTG Vic,nice crappie,by being a black crappie that big this time of year ,would have though he would have gone about 2 1/2,but either way ,nice fish

I was thinking the same thing. Nice crappie nonetheless.
