    fished several days this week in creeks off the james in tidal water.wt 47.using 1/32 1/24 and 1/16 jigs.water depth 4 to 10 ft. in the outside bends in creeks on the drop offs to 20ft plus. count down 3 to 5 and slow retrieve.too many to count and several 14 to 15 inchers.chart best color.caught 3 big blue cats too using whole bream.

    Nice report lots of tidal creeks that are saltwater downstream are in fact fresh water up stream, ?? hope I got that right. Some folks told me about catching big bass in the Elizabeth River. I have caught catfish in the Elizabeth River and thought that was strange.

    Sounds like fun. Are there worms in those James River crappie? I had read that most have them.
