I think Ed did a great thing in '96 when he established this site, and from the number of members, 26,209, a few more crappie fisherman share my feeling. The site was established to share information about fishing, so I think. If you don't want to share anything, then, don't post anything. I haven't fished but a couple of times this year because of a medical problem, but, I don't mind posting information when I have a good or a bad day. If I had someone follow me around because of a post, I would consider it a compliment and prolly take their picture and include it in my post about that trip. Doesn't matter if a reader is a member or a lurker, they are prolly the same as most of us were when we 1st started crappie fishing, just trying to learn how to catch fish. We share the pleasure of fishing for one of the most prolific fresh water fish there is, how many people think they are going to all be caught. If a "hole" dries up, I find another. Structure, depth, presentation, what secret to hide? Sorry, may be frustrated because I'm not getting to fish, but, I am still on the board, sometimes sign in, sometimes lurk. Heck, make it a pay site and see how many members are left?
Please read the "Billy and the Kid" story that Ed posted, this is what it should be about.

Don't outsmart your common sense!
