Thumbs up A good afternoon with Blackie

My old fishing buddy has just about recovered from by pass surgery. A good day on the water is what he needed. Blackie is one of the good guys and really enjoys crappie fishing. We went back to Claytor today and kept 9 for him to take home. Water temp was 50.3 today and again we caught them in about 27 FOW. Did well again on white.

Do you think Blackie had a good time?

Don, WTG,glad you carried a friend with you ,I love to see others catch fish. I will sometimes set the boat in a position where they can catch the fish and I just coach them, sometimes I will shoot docks when it's windy and will just hold boat and let partner catch fish, especially if my wife, but if they start bosting then somehow the boat gets turn to my side, don't know how,LOL

Just exactly whose boat is that, anyway

That sure ain't the "scow" ... & I thought you were fishing from a tiller rig.

Tell that old coot, Blackie, that I said he looks like he's gotten 10yrs younger looking (or maybe it's just that big 'ol smile on his mug )

Glad to see you fellers still gettin out there, after'em !! And glad to hear that Blackie is on the mend !! You boys take care of yourselves !!

Looks like Blackie's responding nicely to the "freckle tonic!"
