Default Great day out on Lake Anna

I got out on Anna on Friday with some family members and the fishing was great. we got a late start because i had to get my son on the school bus. once we got there we started fishing shallow structure with small minnows and managed to pick up about twenty nice size Crappie. then we had the rain storm of the century roll in so we sped over to the nearest bridge to seek cover along with about six other boats. While sitting under the bridge I started fishing the pilings in about 30 feet of water. This ended up being the best fishing of the day. we managed to pull almost forty nice slabs from about twenty feet of water. so even with a torrential down pour we still had a great day. Picture of the fillets from our catch.

Good to hear reports from Miss Anna. Very few hear fish it! I fished often last fall/winter and spring, learning a few spots. Seeing 100's of stripers on my side imaging was very cool.
    BTW, welcome to CC!
