    Default club

I'm seriously thinking about starting a Crappie fishing club focused around learning from each other, giving back to the community with a strong focus on kids. The tournaments will have very little focus on the money aspects of tournament fishing. We would charge a small amount for big fish and trophies. In addition the top three spots in each tournament would describe where and how they caught their fish. This will promote the learning aspect of crappie fishing. All tournaments would be held on Lake Anna and all fish weighed, unless dead would be released.
Maybe work to pick up some sponsors for drawings etc. Please let me know what you think, if you are willing to join something like this and if you are willing to help in any way.
Keep some for the pan, let the larger ones go back for another day!

These work great for us on the MO board. We average over 30 boats on the Truman lake series. I will donate some Rainy Day Jig heads and some hand tied jigs for giveaways to help get this started down there. Slab the owner of crappie.com is always willing to help out also. I will post some pics of the shirts he made for us later today. In ours we require teams must consist of one crappie.com member. We have had a bunch of guys sign up on here and contribute to crappie.com that did not know of it or never signed up until our tournaments started up. They are a great way to get into tournament fishing with out the cost or pressure of a high profile tournament. Also a great way to learn from other fisherman and meet new friends.

We can't use the LKA logo. it belongs to someone. even though it would promote his business. oh well, he is a good friend so I understand.
