    Default Tying times

Ventured to Lake Cohoon today. Spent way too much time tying on new jigs (bad eyes and 10 thumbs don't help). Water temp from 74 to 78. Speks were 6' or less. Once again shade proved to be the only common denominator. No concentration found, had to keep moving. Not sure of count but between 15 and18, size a bit better. Caught more small bass than I cared to fool with. For those who care, I found a killer bait for small pickeral, a 2" kalin acid rain grub.

Thanks for the report! Bass and Pike...You must fish jigs fast, Usually I catch pike when I do a quick retrieve from a bad cast. Did you try the creeks?

Sounds like the day I had last Sunday. Had the step son out with me I lost more rigs than I care to talk about. And no fish to show. He did a bang up job with live worms.

A lot of members love the kalin acid rain grub, especially on the rivers.

Sounds like typical fall pattern. Scattered shallow over deep water with small bass chasing bait.

    Thanks for the report
