I ventured to West landing on the 11th of the month and did fairly well (for me)
The crappie were all fairly nice size with one at 13in I also kept one at 9 1/2.
To my suprize most were caught on jigs and nibblets (thanks Tap) however I ran dry on nibblets :-(
I fished in 9 - 13 FOW caught a few on minnows but Pink BGBS with a touch of nibblets was whats for dinner
a few pictures below.
Also went back on Monday the 17th, could find ANY crappie ended the day with two brim two white perch and two keeper bass

That 13"er is great for that river. Nice job. I do so well with the Money jig that I rarely play with other colors. I guess I'll have to give pink a try.

nice catch mike!!!!! north landing can be a tuff place to figure out. one day you catch them and the wind blows the water either in or out depending on the wind direction. those are some reall nice specks and good pictures two. tight lines JIM.B
Thats great for river crappie. Our coastal rivers are hard to figure out. With water levels changing can be very frustrating I know, I fish them.
