Thread: Grizzly jig co.

I like them to. Best service around. Kevin, I always paint mine. I am a big believer in contrasting colors so I try to miix my jig heads with a contrasting color on my jig. Like pink head with Chartruse body, red head black and red body. I know a lot of it is just what you have confidence in but I am more confident in my combos than just a plain head.

Grizzly is good and another excellent one is Monk's.

And as far as painted or unpainted I dont think it matters too much but I do like to keep a broad assortment of 1/32,1/24,1/16,3/32,1/8 and the latest and greatest for one hand vertical jigging while deep and a tightline is nessessary 1/4 Oz (Panman gave me these now I keep one rod rigged with em for dipping deep structure)

I love Grizzly and Monk's. Monk has the best jig heads with the #2 hook. I never paint the heads the lead color is enough contrast for my crappie.

I started using strictly unpainted jig heads awhile back and have found no difference in my catch ratio. I have been using these sickle hook jigs from Pro Angler Tackle recently had I don't believe I will be using any other. Also been using their rods and love them as well.
