Wow! I've never heard of a beaver attack before either. It's gotta be rabid.
Sounds like it is time to break out the dynamite and .22's. Smoke em all.CF

I heard that the .22 rds with primer only will do it, and they are pretty quiet. But they probably are still too loud for my application.
I have to be stealthy because I live within city limits, and I do not want to freak out the neighbors. You can never tell, one may be a squirrel hugger! I have got a couple with rat traps, baited with peanut butter, and nailed to the top of the privacy fence. But flailing squirrels may alarm sensitive neighbors!
Right now, I am just stinging them with my Red Ryder! I need to get a more powerful one.
Never thought a beaver would attack someone.
Had a muskrat attack me on a golf course once. Fortunately I had my driver in my hand.

Shot a beaver one time with 9mm at close range right between the eyes. Really whizzed it off. Had to finish the job with mt .260. Heck of a BB gun.
