Saturday it was rough as heck at the CBBT. I chummed for hours and couldnt shake it until late afternoon [well after I got home] anyhoo, I was thinking about my boat and I'd "like" a 16 ft'er just like it. Reality is I hate fishing in rough water {as I was quickly reminded sat} so the need for a "bigger" boat isnt that big. If its nice out, the sides on my boat is plenty tall for the occassional MMBT trip. I dunno what I want, i have my camo jon thats perfect for any of the lakes... I have too many wants lol.

If it is so rough you want a bigger boat, it is too rough to fish comfortably.
For me, I enjoy avoiding the post-fishing-trip work that comes with SW, like hosing down the boat, motor, trailer, rods and reels! It is much easier to unhook the boat, push it in the garage and call it quits!

BTW, I have been looking at those seats (on-line) for quite a while now!! Thanks Tap,, I now know if they are good to order..
Down here fishing the Oconee river in Ga, I saw a 14-16 foot starcraft v-hull with the two people in it sitting a little high in the boat...when I got closer, I realized they had stripped the seats out and bolted down leather office furniture chairs. It was pretty funny but looked comfortable!
