Roy,I had a great time also, fishing and fellowship, no dull moments. Each day I could see you improving, couple more fishing trips and you will be a gene's stinger fishing machine,LOL. We will have to tell our wives we need a few more lesson and it will be for THEIR benefit, LOL. It was under some tough fishing condition in middle of day with bright skies and no wind on friday, but they bit good,as I said a 100 times ,sloooow,LOL

We also caught allot of nice white perch up to 13" and few bass and a couple of catfish. All fish were released. Weather was really good. Cloudy in the morning for both Wednesday and Thursday and real foggy on Friday. We were chased off the water on Thursday by a thunder storm by 1:30. Friday in Eastland we had the pleasure of seeing a bear swim across the creek. We followed it not to closely and took a couple of pictures before it made shore and took off running. It was a good size bear in the 150 to 200 lb range. Really had a great trip. Thanks again Gene for all the great hospitality and fishing lessons and showing me that you really don't need minnows to catch crappie. Look forward to doing it again as I'm sure I'll need more lessons. Here are some pictures.
