    Default Western Branch 5/19

I was glad to spend the day with my dad, we launched at 7 and was loaded up around 515...Had plenty of sandwiches, drinks, two new boat seats (more comfy) and bait. Besides the usual smallies we also got 2 dozen large and a dozen jumbos... Tried to catch some bigguns but not much love, 1 Kitty, 1 small Striper, 2 Bass, 3 Pike, One Bream, And I couldnt keep count of how many crappie and yellow perch, Fished 2 rods each and couldnt keep em baited all morning! Many Doubles, few triples. All the speckles were 'keepable' 10-12.5", Found a few new good spots And man that wind was something, Russell it was literally capping in the main lake just after you called. Even had a few longlining jigs and casting.

Who we, sounds like great time, I looked at the wind N forecast and went back to bed. I have not spent much time at that lake. Last time I was there I ran aground at full throttle, got me rattled and fearful of that lake when the water drops. Sure wish I could take my dad fishing, cherish the time.

I guess it was bath time for the eagle. Nice job.
