I have a couple of times. Twice this year, and once about 18 years ago. Got nothing once this year, and 2 dinks the other time. Caught about ten 18 years ago, but I just called it slow-trolling back then.

I pushed 4 14' rods last Friday, and I think I liked it a bit better than longlining (caught 9). But I can see a time when I will longline with the gas motor, because the winds are strong.

Hope this helps, but don't forget I am a newby.

I might be out there tomorrow.

My bash winning crappie in 2010 was caught long lining. Of course, it was the only crappie I caught that day but I have had some success on other trips there. I prefer to cast when I fish that river.

A guy at work is from down there. He just told me its time to break out the ski boat he keeps near bob's. Said that it's a popular place to ski. That is hard to believe. Supposed to be a happning place on the weekends. Those wakes cannot be fun.

It can get real bad from skiers and jet boats especially on week ends. But since I retired several years ago I just go during the week.

I watched a guy in the fall tear em up fishing 2 poles, one in hand and one under his knee. I always thought the fish in NW river have a light bite but I only fish it in the winter and thats how they bite then.
