    Default Sandy River Resavoir

I am headed up to Sandy River Resavoir to fish in a kayak fishing tourney in May and wanted a little info on where might be a good place to start looking for a few crappies.

If you don't want your info out there for everyone but willing to share just send me a private message.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks Dan

Don't know if you will have a depth finder for this, but, along the river channel thee are rock shelves that step down, hold a lot of fish. Also a couple of beaver huts adjacent to deep water that are good. Lots of small to medium crappie, biggun's are few and far between.
    Don't outsmart your common sense!

The object of the tourney is to catch 1 bass, 1 perch & 1 crappie. Add the lengths together for a total. All fish are CPR ( catch photo release)

Thanks for the help. I will let you'll know how I do.
