Thread: 12/26 at the pond,windy but productive

tried out my new rod and reel,soft tip fast action 1/64 to 1/8,sweet,my youngest son was with me and we caught em just about every cast for 51/2 hrs.1/32 kalin shad blue thunder was the best combo.most fish 10 to 12 in with a couple bigguns.a bunch of jumbo gills and a 4#lmb with a few yp up to 10in.water was clear and the wind blew most of the day but dropped out about 3pm.the fish seem to have migrated down the pond arms to the deep end.no electronics but seems to be 8 to 10 ft.
two of my sons are home for Christmas,dropped off the bookworm,OSU Buckeye,at Barnes&Noble to work on his thesis and spend his gift card picked him up after fishing and the three of us hit Jinnys for the all you can eat.SWEET

That's some kind of outstanding pond!
