Hey Mike, give us a update , how are you doing.
I feel great. Getting used to the new eating and exercise routine. Had a chance to go fishing with a friend Monday. Had a great day and caught a bunch of fish. For the first time in a while I pulled in several (probably 6 or 8) that exceeded 12" at Burnt Mills. Life is good.
Hope to see you guys on the water soon.
Mike
Great, I am glad to hear you are on the mend. Keep it up.

Sounds like you were lucky. Mine happened in 2005, I was 50 years old that year. I was not really in any pain but felt exactly what a coworker had told me about his, he had one and said "it felt like a 500 pound gorrilla sitting on my chest". That was what I felt, went to bed, tossed and turned and when I broke out in a heavy sweat, woke the wife up and said lets go honey, she drove me to emergency room, walked in, they hooked me up and said "you're having an attack right now but you are in the right place." I ended up with three stints, was off work 8 weeks, got in lots of fishing during rehab. It will give you a completely different outlook on life, not just fishing. Take time to smell the roses, let the people you care about know how you feel about them and find something you love to do and do it until you are tired of it. I had a real good friend dropped in his tracks because he was a tough guy and just shook it off, no one but him knew if he had any other incidents before the Lord took him. Don't fool around, each of us knows what your body tells you and you need to get something done if you feel pressure on your chest. I'm glad I did. Good luck with yours, see you out there.
Glad you feel better.
You seem to be the only one posting bigger fish at the Mill. I may give it a go one day soon. I'm off now to Jan 3rd. No offense, but with the
diminished size of crappie at BM this year, most likely due to all the fish caught, I'll probably release anything over 11" and start keeping the 10"ers. Which is the total opposite of what I normally do.
Glad to here your up and about. Two good Documentaries on overall health Ive watched recently are Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead and Forks over Knives. Really gave me a new perspective on how we live our lives.
Happy Holidays,
Todd
Don't misunderstand, I am not hauling in the slabs, but have caught a few more each trip that are much bigger than the (my) average. Last trip I must have found a group that had some larger fish in it and managed 3 or 4 over the 12" mark (didn't measure exactly). Out of 60, or so, fish that number didn't make me think I had "finally found them", but it did put a smile on my face. I rarely take any home, maybe a couple of "messes" a year, unless somebody asks me for some.
Mike
me too. i normally keep fish between 11" - 13". but bm is gonna change me.
