Stumpbumpers, back about 6 or 7 years ago while in a Bass Club we had a small tournament on the Pasquotank. If my brain remembers wright, that is the river which dumps into the sound at Elizabeth City. There was about 8 to 10 boats and it was it the late Spring. We put in at Elizabeth City, N.C. The winning fish was the only fish caught.The club always refered to that Saturday as the "Dead Sea Tournament".:D

welcome to the board. I know the waters you is talking about. I have done some bank fishing at a park in hertford(think I spelled it right) few dinks,but not bad. I know what you mean bout this "dark water" Comming from California is not right. But I have learned to fish it anyway. I am out in currituck I know of a few spots in camden also.
