Thanks for the link Brad, Im going to head up there in Feb sometime. Im a bit busy right now and have to stay close to home. I appreciate it. My son is getting ready to go to college. We have fishhed alot together, but lately his interests are on other things (girls). We still find time to fish every now and then. If I tell him Im going he is usually in. I just like to get out and away from it all.

My Parents live in Fla on the gulf, My dad and I fish every day when I go down to see them. Fishing is quality time with friends and family.

Thanks to all for your replies.

Im new to the board. I tried the BASS thing for a few years bought an NX750 and fished some tournies. Ive since sold the NX750 and purchased an 06 PT 175 / 50hp. I live in Williamsburg and mostly fish Waller Mill, Little creek, Diascund, Chick lake. This is why I got the PT 175 alot easier in the TM only lakes.

I have not been to the Appomattox. I would like to take a trip and check it out. I have always fished for crrapie if the bass were not hungry. So I guess Im still a begginer.

Where is the best place to launch on the Appomattox?? Brad how does your boat do on the rivers? With those 2 boys is it getting a bit crowded? I have a 17 year old myself, he loves to fish. I also have twin 3 year olds that Im giving the fishin bug to. Thanks in advance for any info

Sounds good horseshoer, What kind of rig do you have??

I will be at the Chick Res tommorow for a few hours in the morning.

Still trying to burn the premix (break in) out of the gas tank.

I live off of 143 about 1/2 mile from the Williamsburg country club.

I just got an old jonboat a few months ago. No gas eng on it and no plans at this time for one. I am mainly on the TMO reservoirs so it is enough. It will be a few weeks before I start getting out regular, when the water & weather warm and the crappie spawn. I am 3 m from Diascund so I shoot over there once in awhile for a few hrs when it has warmed for a few days and as I can get away. My kids are grown up and live out of state-heck I have grandkid #4
on the way, so I am either fishing by myself or have a couple friends I take or go with. I am sure we can get some fishing in. Take care.
