The Crappie, are starting to make their annual migratory type of travels to the wintering locations .
If you know a location that is a solid spot when they start to move , you best hit it NOW , the run has begun .
I would tend to think by November, lot's of these types of spots will begin to slow down quickly as the fish move on.
Limits are fairly easy to come by if you can find the crappie while they are traveling , they are packing up on calories and look almost as fat as spring run fish currently ....
some bites are pretty darn hard , not quite the type of wrist hurt thumps just yet , but it is near
go box you a couple dozen , they sure are sassy and cool to the touch right now
KABOOM is near by golly
p.s. not deep , they seem to be holding in waters less than 12 foot deep and as short as 6 foot of water

Very nice Ketch. What Crappie I have are wintering in my drip freezer.
