Glad you're back to Texas.

I'm back in Texas, have my pontoon in Cottonwood Marina on Lake Lewisville.
The slips here are barren deserts, without any brush in them. And the marina does not allow you to brush them.
I've tried the Eldorado bridge and the I 35 bridge. But to date they show very little fish on them. And the few there are very small, 6"-8". I see crappie at the boat launch dock at the Eldorado bridge but they are also very small.
I have also fished the second cut between the two lakes. Same thing, not many fish and very small.
I tried the slough behind the marina and found trees there but very little fish. The only thing I have caught there are a few catfish near the bottom.
Can anyone tell me where I should be looking for crappie on Lewisville at this time of year?

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.
all I know about that spot these days is the winter run up hickory creek , but you would have to pack a lunch and make it a long day to get over there from where you are currently located , beyond all that I suspect there are some good locations near you , but I got a big zero clue ....
let me ask some folks and see what I can find out about over that way bro ....
